Monday Montage Gift Card Holders

Good evening!  Welcome back for another edition of Monday Montage!  Due to technical difficulties I've not been able to update my blog until today.  I apologize for the inconvenience.  It's truly been annoying to not be able to post!

Tonight I have several gift card holders to share with you.  They are all the same basic style just different colors/embellishments/stamped images.  These gift card holders are super easy to create and are the perfect packaging for your gift cards!

Inside each holder is a set of white coin envelopes which have been embossed with the Northern Flurry Embossing Folder.  The top envelope holds the gift card and the bottom envelope holds a tiny little card with a sentiment.  Unfortunately I don't have a picture of this to share just yet as I'm still having technical issues and things don't want to cooperate!  I will update this post as soon as I can with the inside pics!

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope you click the buttons at the bottom of this post to move around the hop!  Lots of beautiful projects will be shared this week!!!

Timeless Talk set

Good morning!
Have you ever looked through a catalog and saw an item that you liked but you weren't quite sure what to do with it?  That was me with the Timeless Talk stamp set that was featured in the 2013-2014 Annual Catalog.  I fell in love with the set immediately but just didn't quite know what to do with it.

A few months ago- I ordered the stamp set and it sat untouched for a very long time.  Then as I was designing my Craft Project Central project, I found the Timeless Talk Desktop Card set that the fabulous Laurie Zoellmer created.  I knew exactly what I was going to make!

I absolutely love this desk set.  The cards are super cute and the box is fabulous!  It's also super easy to create!  If you're interested in the tutorial- you will need to subscribe to the October 2013 session.  The tutorial is easy to follow and is perfect for any level crafter!
Here are the 3 cards that go inside the box:
That's it!  Super cute and super fun!!!!

Monday Montage

Good evening!  Welcome back for another edition of Monday Montage!  I hope that everyone had a safe and wonderful Thanksgiving weekend! The holiday's are nice but they never last long enough!

Tonight I have a Christmas card to share with you. I wanted to create a somewhat non traditional Christmas card and this is what I came up with. Even though it's a non traditional card- I did keep red and green for accent colors.

The Burlap Ribbon from the Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog is awesome! It's extra wide which makes it perfect for ribbon roses!  I added a little bit of Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding Ribbon to the back of the ribbon rose for a little added decoration.

Don't forget to hop around with us tonight!  Click the back/next buttons to go all around the hop!
Have a wonderful evening!

A tree from mini trees

Good morning!
I've been trying to use some of the stamp sets/punches that were on the carryover list from the last Holiday Catalog.  That brings us to today's card.  I have only used this punch pack a handful of times but I LOVE it!  The Merry Minis Punch pack comes with 3 small punches.  A star, an ornament and a tree.  For this card- I punched out 15 mini trees and adhered them in a triangular shape to look like a larger tree.  After each tree was adhered in place- I added some Cherry  Cobbler Dazzling Details for tiny ornaments.  A strand of Linen Thread was added for garland.  And last but not least (you guessed it!) a fork bow for the topper!
I think this card came our super cute!

Card Ingredients:
Card Stock:  Crumb Cake, Old Olive, Soft Suede
DSP:  Season of Style
Stamps:  Greetings of the Season
Inks:  Cherry Cobbler
Tools/other supplies:  Stampin' Trimmer, Merry Minis Punch Pack (carry-over list), Paper Snips, fork, Stampin' Dimensionals, Cherry Cobbler Dazzling Details, SNAIL, Glue Dots

Expressions Thinlits

Good morning!
Today I have a simple card to share.  It was created using the Expressions Thinlits Merry die.  LOVE these fun dies!
While I was creating this card- I thought it would be fun to experiment with some "fork bows".  I'm sure the majority of you know what a fork bow is but for those who don't- it's a bow created by using a fork!  They are super easy to create and come out perfectly every time!
As you can see from the picture above- my fork bow has several loops.  FUN!!!

I also wanted to let you all know that for the next few weeks- my posts will be just about every other day.  I have been extremely busy and have a lot of catching up to do as well as working on my current projects.  I apologize for this as I love to post daily but I need a little break!  Thanks for stopping by!  I appreciate each and every one of you!

Gratitude

Good morning!
Today I have a Thanksgiving card to share.  I LOVE the Harvest of Thanks and Truly Grateful stamp sets.  I'm truly sad that Thanksgiving will be over in a few weeks and I won't need to use them anymore!  I've said it before and I'm sure I'll say it again but I'm not a fan of  Autumn.  I don't like the change of seasons.  The colder weather makes me want to hibernate until the Spring.  Fortunately this year- the weather has been pretty good.  Sure we've had a few really chilly days but nothing like the upcoming Winter season that is rapidly approaching.  Is it already feeling like Winter where you live?

Card Ingredients:
Card Stock:  Very Vanilla
Stamps:  Harvest of Thanks, Truly Grateful, Gorgeous Grunge
Inks:  Cajun Craze, Pumpkin Pie, Early Espresso, Crushed Curry

Joyful Tidings

Good morning!
It's that time of the year again!  Christmas card making is in full swing!  The card I have to share with you today is just one of the many Christmas cards that I've been busy creating.  Do you make multiples of the same card to send for the holidays or do you make them all different?  I must admit- I'm more of a "one of a kind" card creator.  I like all my cards to be unique therefore I typically only make one of each!

Thanks for stopping by!

With Sympathy...

Good morning!
Today I have a very clean and simple card to share.  I needed to make a sympathy card for one of my husband's co-workers.  I wanted to create something that was pretty yet subtle.  The card below is what I came up with.
I apologize for the picture quality.  For some reason the camera did not want to take a decent picture.  Perhaps it's because the card is white on a white background.
Thanks for stopping by!  Enjoy your Friday!

Not my typical craft

Good morning!
Today I'm sharing the project I worked on for much of the day yesterday.  My hubby is a HUGE Pearl Jam fan and he asked me to create some little favors that we could give away to fellow fans on our upcoming Pearl Jam trip.  This is what I came up with:
The inside of the bottle caps was created using the Stampin' Up! MDS2 program.  From there- I was able to create a variety of pictures.  Each was punched out with a 1" Circle Punch and adhered to the inside of the bottle cap.  I then filled each bottle cap with Crystal Effects.  In the morning they should be dry and clear!  Here is what they look like when they are still wet.  As you can see- they are a little cloudy but that will disappear as the Crystal Effects dries.
Once the bottle caps are dry- they will be turned into key chains!  This isn't my typical craft as I rarely ever use non Stampin' Up! products.  I figured I could compromise this time!  At least the majority of the item was created using Stampin' Up! products!
Happy Wednesday!

Thanksgiving Tablescape

Good morning!
How do you decorate your Thanksgiving table?  Do you use candles and flowers?  Or do you have a beautiful Cornacopia for a centerpiece?  This year I decided to create my own tablescape!  With a little help from Stampin' Up!, I've been making several decorations to coordinate with the Thanksgiving/Autumn theme.
This year in the Holiday Catalog, there is a fabulous kit.  It's called the Thankful Tablescape Simply Created Kit.  In this kit- there are plenty of supplies to decorate a table beautifully!  There are fall leaves, napkin holders, table tents, DSP belly bands, name banners, birch paper ribbon, chocolate chip paper ribbon, etc...
I created my napkin holders just as they are pictured in the Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog.

I am still in the process of completing my tablescape but it will have Autumn leaf garland and pillar candles with the birch paper ribbon wrapped around them.  The Autumn leaf garland is being created with the Autumn Accents Bigz Die.  After I have all my leaves cut out- I will use my sewing machine to sew them together.

Thanks for stopping by!
Ingredients:
Thankful Tablescape Simply Created Kit
Chalk Marker, Glue Dots, Stampin' Dimensionals, SNAIL, Thankful For stamp, Early Espresso Ink

Monday Montage Blog Hop

Good evening!  Welcome back to the bi-weekly Monday Montage blog hop!  There are lots of beautiful projects to share so please join us for the entire hop!  Use the back/next buttons at the bottom of this post to navigate through the hop.

I have a card to share today.  I love using the stencils that came with the Build a Banner kit so I figured I would use the dots stencil to create the background for my card.  I used a sponge dauber in Versamark ink and then sprinkled heat and stick powder all over the dots.  Once heated with the heat tool- I applied some beautiful silver glitter and used the heat tool again to heat set.

I chose the deck the halls sentiment from the Christmas Messages stamp set.  The sentiment was inked using the Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Write Markers.  As you can see from the picture- I simply colored the stamp in diagonal lines.

Since I didn't have a sparkly silver button to add to my card- I decided to create one of my own!  Using a Vintage Faceted Designer Button, I pressed it into the Versamark ink.  I then dipped the button into my Heat and Stick powder, heated it up and added the silver glitter to the button.  Random paper curls and a bow finish off my design.

Have a great Monday and thanks for stopping by!

Card Ingredients:
Card Stock:  Whisper White, Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake

Merry!

Good morning!
Happy Wednesday!   Have you started working on your Christmas cards  yet?  I'd like to say that I have but in all honesty- I only have a few made and ready to go.  Thankfully I have a few more weeks before I start to freak out about being so far behind!
The card I have to share with you today is very similar to the card that I created for the Lansing Regional last November.  I have always loved the 3-Dimensional stars and I love how they look on this card.  No, this card cannot be mailed (unless you sent it in a box) but it can be hand delivered and the recipient is sure to enjoy!

The front view of the card doesn't really show the true dimension  on this card.  This sideview picture shows it best.  As you can see- it's pretty thick!

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a great day!
